Jonathan Carrasco is a Southern California photographer specializing in automotive photography, portraits, headshots, family sessions, and commercial projects. Born in Oaxaca, Mexico and raised in North County San Diego, Jonathan's passion for photography started early and has been a constant part of his life ever since.
At 12 years old, he picked up a camera for a photography class and quickly became fascinated by the ability to capture moments that would otherwise be gone forever. What started as a hobby turned into a lifelong pursuit of documenting people, vehicles, milestones, and stories through photography.
Today, Jonathan works with clients throughout San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles, bringing the same level of attention and care to every project, whether it's an automotive shoot, family session, or a professional headshot.
A Passion Turned Profession
Jonathan's career has been built one opportunity at a time. What began at local car meets and Cars & Coffee events eventually led to collaborations with some of the most recognized names in the automotive and entertainment industries.
His consistent effort on with every client he worked with opened doors to partner with brands and publications including Super Street Magazine, Sheepey Race, Pennzoil, and others throughout the automotive world. His photography has since appeared in major campaigns and publications, including Billboard Magazine & Time100, while also documenting artists, athletes, creators, and events such as Fuerza Regida, the Latin Grammys, Canelo Álvarez, WhistlinDiesel, and SteveWillDoIt.
While the projects have grown over the years, Jonathan's approach hasn't changed. He still believes that every client deserves the same level of professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail regardless of the size of the project.
